Check out the simple, yet heartwarming, bereavement (or memory) box I created for The Dabbling Mum’s Healing Projects center.

Memory Box © Alyice Edrich, 2010
It’s a new center designed to help us heal through art. It’s a project I had been trying to get off the ground floor for months, when I owned “Good Mourning Lord”—which is now defunct. When I moved all the content from that website over to The Dabbling Mum, I thought it was time to get the healing project center up-and-running, too!
You can learn how to create one of these boxes yourself, as well as learn why a memory box is such a wonderful gift for the bereaved by clicking here.

Over the course of the next few months you can find me posting craft tutorials, quick techniques, and product reviews—complete with detailed photos—over at Crafts Unleashed.
When I signed up to be a Guest Designer for Crafts Unleashed, I was told that I would have to use the products sold by the main company, Consumer Crafts.
Made sense.
Create projects using products the company actually sells so that consumers can see all the wonderful things that can be done with those products.
What I didn’t realize, however, was how vast a selection Consumer Crafts has or what great prices! When scouring the website (as I hadn’t received my catalog yet), I found myself in disbelief.
Could these prices be right? Was this really a store for consumers like me? And finally, where has this website been hiding?
I’ll definitely have to do my share of shopping there.
At any rate, check out my posts next month and tell me what you think, “k”?

I’ve been featured on Empty Easel, well my byline anyway. I’ve been hired to write a series of posts (articles) on starting a blog on Blogger.com. Twice a month, I’ll share a simple tutorial, complete with screen shots. Then twice a month, I’ll share interviews I’ve conducted with other artists—and show off some of their art in the process. Each interview will focus on a specific area of the artist’s business.
At any rate, check out the articles and tell me what you think, “k”?
You’ll find the blogging articles under Art Marketing Tips and you’ll find the interviews under Misc.
