Three Works In Progress

Have you ever sat down to create something and found yourself “stuck”? Perhaps you didn’t want to “mess up” the beautiful background you’ve created, or perhaps the background didn’t turn out quite as well as you hoped, or perhaps, just perhaps, you realized that what you thought was “done” was still missing something. That’s what’s going on with these three canvases.

Love, love, love these! I agree that they might want for something else, but that middle one..I would proudly display it just as it is! The textures, the colors….so tactile and rich!

The first image, I am actually trying to decide which type of bird would be best and if I want to go with a painted bird or a cut out of a real bird.

Thanks Nicki! I can’t decide if I should leave the middle one alone, or continue working on it. But I do like the simplicity of it, and the rich texture/colors.
