A few years ago I moved to this small town only knowing three men: my husband, my son, and my father-in-law. Then one day my world was turned upside down and it has never been the same. I fell head over heels in love with a new man.
This “Little Man”, as we affectionately call him, shows up unexpectedly just to hear my voice, receive a hug, hold my hand, walk with me, and laugh with me. He never asks for anything but my love and I gladly give it each and every day.
Whenever he knocks on the door and calls my name, I can’t help but giggle and think, “I am so glad you’re in my life.” And the best part is, my husband doesn’t even mind!
So today, as I think about what I’m grateful for, I must take time to thank the Lord for bringing my “Little Man” into my life—and into the lives of my family—for he truly does bring us much joy!

Oh, and I can’t forget to thank his mamma for being so kind and generous and sharing him with us! She’s a remarkable woman who truly knows what it means to “love and nurture”.
Give thanks…
